MILANA STREZEVA
Pianist    

Moldovan born American Pianist and founding member of Manhattan Piano Trio, Milana Strezeva began studying piano at the age of six. She is a 1996 Arts Recognition and Talent Search awardee and also winner of the Young Artist Competition and Yamaha Piano competition (FL). In 1998, Milana won the IBLA International Competition (Italy) that lead to her her debut recital at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. She has also appeared as a soloist with the West Coast Symphony Orchestra.

Milana’s other major chamber music appearances include performances at Alice Tully Hall, UN General Assembly Hall, [NYC], Van Wezel (Sarasota, FL), Jordan Hall [Boston, MA] and Gusman Concert Hall [Miami, FL].

A talented vocal collaborator, Milana has been the pianist for her mother, Soprano Svetlana Strezeva (the acclaimed "Russian Nightingale”), in Italy, Denmark, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Moldova and China. She was also been invited to be part of several opera productions in Di Capo Opera, Hudson Opera, Sorg Opera, and American Opera Company. Milana Strezeva has received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from The Juilliard School under the guidance of Bella Davidovich and Julian Martin.

 
 
     
DMITRY KOUZOV
Cellist      

Dmitry Kouzov has performed throughout the United States, Europe and Russia with orchestras, solo recitals, and in chamber music ensembles. He is the 1st prize winner at the International Beethoven Cello Competition (Czech Republic), a two-time laureate of the International Festival-Competition “Virtuosi of the Year 2000”(Russia), winner of the 2005 Juilliard Cello Concerto competition and recepient of the 2006 New York Cello Society's "Rising Star" Award.

Dmitry’s performances include NYC Debut at Alice Tully Hall with conductor Raymond Leppard, 92nd Street Y debut and chamber music collaboration at the Verbier Music Festival (Switzerland) with Joshua Bell. He has also participated in the “Janacek May Festival” (Czech Republic), “Music in Croix Baragnon” festival (France) and Yellow Barn Music Festival (Maine). He has appeared in command performances before Michail Gorbachev and Prince Andrew.

Dmitry Kouzov began his musical studies at the age of 7 and at age 13 made his debut as a soloist at the St. Petersburg Philharmonic. He continued his studies at the Sibelius Academy (Finland), where he earned his Bachelor and Masters degree. Dmitry has also earned the Artist Diploma at Juilliard under the guidance of Joel Krosnick and Darett Adkins. He is currently serving as assistant faculty to Prof. Krosnick.

 
 
     
DMITRY LUKIN
Violinist      

Silver Medalist and the Audience Prize winner at the 2005 Sion International Violin Competition, violinist Dmitry Lukin started his international solo violin career when he was 11 as one of “Russian Prodigies Concert Series” violinists. Since then he has given numerous performances in Russia, Germany, Austria, Japan, Poland, France and USA where his performances have also been heard on public radio stations. Highlights include concerts at Alte Opera Haus in Frankfurt and Bad Fussing Concert Hall (Germany), St. Petersburg Philharmonic Hall (Russia), Sendai Philharmonic Hall (Japan), Mozarteum Academy Concert Hall (Austria), Batiment des Forces Motrices (Switzerland) and Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center (NYC) among others.

Dmitry has appeared as concerto soloist with the Lithuanian National Orchestra under Maestro Shlomo Mintz and Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra. He has also been a teaching assistant and concert artist at Bowdoin International Festival. Dmitry is laureate of the Mravinsky International Music Competition (Russia) and the Takasaki International Competition of Art and Music (Japan). He has also participated in the music festival “Frankfurt Im Dialog” for the city of Frankfurt’s 1,200 – year celebrations.

Dmitry Lukin has earned his Bachelor of Music degree from The Juilliard School from where he is currently also pursuing his Master’s degree under renowned Prof. Lewis Kaplan. He also has Master of Music degree from the St. Petersburg Conservatory (Russia). At Juilliard, Dmitry Lukin was awarded the C.V. Starr Scholarship, the Joseph Fuchs Scholarship, Doroty Delay Scholarship, Malino Schoraship and the Vivian Milstein Scholarship”. He is also the recipient of the 2004 Eubie Blake Grant. Dmitry plays Francesco Gofriller violin lent to him from the Juilliard Rare Instrument Collection.
